Poker Evenings
What is a Poker Evening?
It is a fun evening where people get the chance to learn the skills needed for one of the fastest growing pastimes in the UK. You can hold a Poker evening for any number of people between 10 and 100.
What if I have never played before?
No problem. We have professional dealers who will teach you the basics of ‘how to play’.
How long does a Poker game last?
Up to 4 hours, normally it is scheduled from 7:30pm to 11:30pm but times can be adjusted to suit your particular event.
What do I need to supply?
The venue and the chairs and of course the players. We supply all the equipment and the dealers to ensure you have a fun evening.
(If required we can hire chairs).
What does it cost and is it legal?
Any costs to play are met by the players for their tuition on how to play poker. It is asked for you to collect a deposit in advance so that we can calculate how many players are wishing to take part. Any money collected for additional chips (under the gaming act 2005) must be returned to the players in the form of
cash or prizes.
Can I lose a lot of money?
No. Our tournaments are fun based. The idea of the game is that you start with a number of chips and you keep playing until you either have none, or have accumulated everyone else’s chips. On a typical evening with 30 players the top 9 players will receive cash or prizes.
